Luz Barros is a freelance children’s books illustrator and character design based in Granada, Spain. She studied Fine Arts at Granada University and has been living in different places around Europe until she decided to settle back home in Spain. 

She loves creating whimsical scenes that are filled with life, texture, and bursts of colour. Her favourite mediums to work is watercolour but she recently discover the freedom intrinsic to the digital media, allowing her to play even more with color, texture and lighting to best represent the storytelling.
